Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This policy describes the processing of personal data in connection with the ProData website, a CLIPIN project. It applies to this website and its comparison tools. Other CLIPIN services are governed by their respective privacy notices.

1. Data controller

CLIPIN FIT S.L. is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy enquiries and requests to exercise data protection rights may be addressed to the contact below.

2. Data processing and purposes

The hosting infrastructure processes technical request data, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver the website, maintain availability, and prevent abuse. These purposes are based on the legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. Information provided in a privacy enquiry is used to respond to the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

3. Comparison tools and published statistics

Session durations entered in the comparison tool are processed in browser memory. The application does not transmit these values to a server or retain them after the page is reloaded. Published charts contain aggregate statistics from a historical dataset. This policy concerns website use; the methodology page describes the statistical dataset and its limitations.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The website stores the selected language in a preference cookie for up to one year. The display theme is stored locally in the browser until it is changed or browser storage is cleared. These settings support the preferences selected by the visitor. Browser settings can be used to delete them. The current website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking.

5. Service providers and international transfers

Vercel provides the website’s hosting infrastructure and processes technical data associated with website requests. Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Vercel’s data processing terms describe the applicable international transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required. Links to those terms and Vercel’s privacy notice appear below.

6. Retention

Comparison inputs are held only in browser memory. Preference storage follows the periods described above. Technical records are subject to the hosting provider’s applicable retention settings and security requirements. Correspondence is retained as necessary to handle the request and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

7. Data protection rights

Where applicable, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or data portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests may be submitted using the contact below. Individuals also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the website or applicable requirements. The current version and its revision date are published on this page.
